Welcome to the first “Off the apparatus” event at Pole Republic.
In this session we will teach you about the importance of nutrition and restitution as someone who trains pole or aerials.
We will get into tangible ways to get the right nutrition in a busy daily life, and help you to understand the role our nutrition and restitution plays in progression, learning and getting stronger.

Double silks - a 5 week course
Join Kieran and Mary in this fun double silks adventure!
This course is for students who want to explore duo tricks on silks. You should feel comfortable being in close physical contact with others and communicating your needs to your aerial partner. You do not need to have a partner to participate; we will pair you up during the course if you come alone. It is a closed course, so you will be training with the same group every week.
We recommend long, non-slippery pants and a shirt that covers both armpits and shoulders
Get ready to have fun and learn a whole lot of new things!🥳

- This is an upper-novice course. We expect you to be able to hang comfortably with your hands for 20 seconds without wrapping, make a footlock from the air, and be able invert from a crossback straddle and from the floor multiple times in a row.

Novice silks workshop with hanne coeckelberghs
Join Hanne for a 4 hour workshop over the course of two days, where she will get the chance to learn amazing dynamics.
Hanne has been doing aerial silks for over 15 years and because of this, she has built a great knowledge that she loves to share with others. During her time in the circus school, she has developed her own style in silks which is mainly based on dynamics. Her vocabulary also includes many tricks inspired from the rope, straps and even handstands. Next to that, she has also created her own tricks. With over 8 years of experience in teaching, she knows exactly how to teach all of those skills to her students.

Straps workshop with hanne coeckelberghs
Hanne started aerial straps in 2015 during her years in circus school, and because she had the chance to attend many private classes in straps, she has built a strong vocabulary within the world of straps. This workshop will have a little something for everyone, and you do not need to have any prior knowledge of straps.
